Highly Trained Restoration Specialists

#1 Choice In Disaster Restoration

SERVPRO of Rutherford County is proud to serve our community, and we undertake intensive training to ensure that we’re offering the best service available to get our customers back to normal as soon as possible.

Before we hire a technician, we conduct a rigorous screening process. We understand that you don’t allow just anyone into your home; with that in mind, we require every employee to pass a stringent background check. Our customers’ safety is first and foremost. Once the person is given the green light, they start their training.

Every SERVPRO franchise must go through the NFTP, or the new franchisee training program. This is an intense eighteen-day training at the SERVPRO headquarters in Gallatin, Tennessee. There, they offer new franchises hands-on training. For instance, when they train new franchisees how to properly dry a home, they actually flood a home built on site for training purposes. There’s also a structure that is used to teach trainees about fire damage; using these scenarios, SERVPRO ensures that trainees have the information they need to clean the structure, including the tests they must conduct to determine the best course of action that will preserve the materials. New franchises will learn the best practices during this training period rather than while on the job at a customer’s home.

IICRC Training and Certification

IICRC

The Institute of Inspection Cleaning and Restoration Certification (IICRC) certifies and sets the standards for the cleaning and restoration industries. Our Professionals study IICRC standards and best practices in water restoration, fire restoration, mold remediation, carpet and upholstery cleaning, and other cleaning and restoration courses.

e-Learnings

All of our staff have access to web-based training. This voluntary program is designed to be an ongoing, self-paced coaching series for a Franchise's employees. This keeps our technicians and office staff up to speed on industry standards and the professional quality you expect.
